the master

Contributed by storm on Sunday, 16th November 2003 @ 08:38:41 PM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

although you may have known me
and gazed into my eyes
you could not see that i was
a master of disguise
and even though i gave to you
all that i could give
my love,my heart,my soul
the master could not live
i wish that i could take it back
the sadness that you feel
the doubts you may be having
my love for you is real
but when you are the master
the game of life to play
you have to be a champion
the victor,everyday
your love for me my armor
my wit would be my sword
and for a time i could exist
the leader of this horde
i'll always know that i have been
loved,cherished,and adored
i just don't ever want to be
the master, anymoe.

Very good poetry. Rhymes and scans doesn't ramble, clear and lovely ending. (except for the spelling mistake.in the last word. Mick will pick that up for you,I make them all the time)
