Where Poets Still Are Dreaming

Contributed by doug on Sunday, 16th November 2003 @ 05:40:13 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

oh for the starry night
I do now implore
where lovers are enchanted
and lost in there amor
a place where glowing heavens
are not that far away
and poets still are dreaming
with thoughts of yesterday
I long for the magic, I search for
secret places
where fairies still are dancing
and time is held in stasis
but for a love immortal I'm
searching most of all
throughout the starry heavens
and in the sacred halls
and when my love I find you I'll
sit down by your side
amisdt the sparkling diamonds
in the dreamy summer skies
and when you say you love me
I'll say forever more
oh for the starry night I do now
implore

This poem flows extremely well and it was obviously well thought out and very well written. It seems to bring me back to a time of old, where anything and everything was possible... Great write!

Very well written.

"and time is held in stasis"

Brought forth the magick of this piece for me. Eloquent and persuasive.
