Take your smile

See me cry, hear me plead

Mock my misfortune as I bleed

I never liked your silly ways

Your snide remarks and jealous gaze

I hope your happy now damage is done

But behind your back I'm having fun

Honesty and truth was all I was after

Not false smiles and damn false laughter

So here's a message if you can't tell

Take your smile and go to hell

No you sit there, poison her mind

You really are an evil kind

No matter how much you damn my name

I'll keep one step ahead in this game

When everything is done and dusted

Through her eyes you will be busted

I never trusted you, never believed

You loved my smile, yet still deceived

Honesty and truth was all I was after

Not false smiles and damn false laughter

So here's a message if you can't tell

Take your smile and go to hell

No you sit there, poison her mind

You really are an evil kind

Take it now and leave my shores

Don't come back we'll close the doors

Its up to us to make our way

Without your hate with us each day...."

How sad this poem is. Why must be live in such a terrible world?, with it's hurts, lies, and so much evil. One does not have the answer, do they? I can only say, if we look hard enough in one day, we will see something good. This poem was lovely written. Thank you for sharing.
