we get so few moments
that we can share
with but the blink of the eye
the moments no longer there
and when that time has passed
no longer in our grasp
regret is all we have to share
forgive me for the moment
that i let slip away
bombarded by the weight of other things
i promise to try and seize every moment
spent with you
and appreciate the happiness each moment brings.
