Why couldn't somebody love her?
Why couldn't somebody see?
She needed somebody
Like you and me.

She had the friends and family
But they couldn't see
She needed somebody
Like you and me.

She stills needs somebody
She's been waiting for thee
She still needs someone
Like you and me.
