My Fading Moment

My love is too strong to be weakened by almost anything,
yet, when I hear again, "I can't have her", I drop.
My heart sinking, I want to be with her so much,
yet, I still sit writing poems about how I cannot,
yet, I hold her closest to my heart.
Some say "Forget", I cannot. She's all I want.
Some say wait, but I cannot live without her.
So I sit still, writing this poem,
feeling her always, feeling eternal.
My lips brought to hers. A broken dream.
I don't want this lingering hunger.
Always waiting, while others celebrate the chance
to be alive and breathing. I loathe this heart.
My tears swept away once more.
My mortality follows my soul. Cast in stone again.
Always waiting, My true love. Slay the beast. Destroy me again.
A damned backward emotion. I want her so much.

| Traumatise was a bit harsh. This is beautiful, It shows the true emotions of a broken-hearted person. There is much similarity between our feelings... It is terribly, terribly hard to let go and the only one who can do it is yourself, give it time and let life move on... |
