A Princess

Contributed by ToriVeigh on Saturday, 15th November 2003 @ 12:36:45 AM in AEST
Topic: StoryPoetry

Once upon a fictional time
A princess did awake
With a man she did recline
She knew her heart was at stake

The fear in her, she didn’t like
She drove him away you see
He took off on his motorbike
For she wouldn’t hear his plea

For a time she did pretend
That it didn’t bother her
No card or letter did he send
Of her, his thoughts must not stir

Oh….. the pain within
How quickly it does grow
Although, she knew it as sin
She decided he must go

She went about to buy a thing
Around she did shop
The time was for avenging
No, she could not be stopped

As she planned to hunt him down
Her heart forever stained
She asked of him all around town
Her intentions all too plain

When he heard she had arrived
And what she was about
It didn’t matter for what she strived
He felt he was the lout

To her he flew
Quick as he could
But all she knew
Is there he stood

When upon him she drew
His arms opened wide
She had a loose screw
And then he died

They locked her away
But she didn’t care
Although she stayed
In only her underwear

By this tale you now know
Of the thoughts I have fed
And to what, my time I devote
Do you not yet dread?
Do you not yet know?
I have lost my head!

Very good writing!
I remember feeling that way once but thank God no one would lend me a gun.
I had a few seconds of insanity!
Think we all can do that one in a while, think things we shouldn't.
Awesome writing!
peace, joy, luv,
emy
