Die For Me

Contributed by Cora-Windover on Friday, 14th November 2003 @ 11:57:18 PM in AEST
Topic: SongLyrics

Tears are falling down your face
Scenes I wish could not take place
Staring at the sorrow in your eyes

Feeling lost and so alone
Wishing I could take you home
Wanting to be back inside the skies

But deep down, deep down I know
It's been a while, been a while, let go
But all that I can think about
Is if I'd thought to come around
Maybe there was something we could be
Oh baby, please don't die for me

You're not worth these stupid lies
Baby, I can see you cry
Say I didn't cause you despair

Life is like a TV show
Things you thought you once did know
Turn to be as real as the air

But deep down, deep down I know
It's been a while, been a while, let go
But all that I can think about
Is if I'd thought to come around
Maybe there was something we could be
Oh baby, please don't die for me
Crazy, crazy though you are
I think I know, think I know who you are
But I have to try to say
I'm not the one you're crying for today

And every day I say
I never hurt you this way
But it's all lies that I've believed
To keep from giving up and...

Crazy, crazy though you are
I think I know, think I know who you are
Today I finally say
Were you try'n'a cross my way?
Baby, baby, I believe
You've always taken over me
I started lying to stop crying, stop from dying....

But deep down, deep down I know
I could never, ever let you go
And all I can think about
Is how much having you around
Began a change in me
Baby, won't you live for me!
Crazy, crazy though you are
You're beautiful, beautiful, as a star
It feels so right to say
Come back to me, back to me, this day

And one more time I say
I love you more than words can say
And I will never lie
If ever you are by my side

And deep down, deep down I know
I could never, ever let you go
And all I can think about
Is how much having you around
Began a change in me
Baby, won't you live for me!
Crazy, crazy though you are
You're beautiful, beautiful, as a star
It feels so right to say
Come back to me, back to me, this day
