I see the darkness creeping all around
I’m tired, I’m jaded, I jump at every sound
The world around me is reeling
He thinks my peace is for stealing
I’ll show him that he’s wrong
He’ll not get forgiveness with his song
For this time, I won’t give in
My heart, he will never again win
