My Nightmare

Would you take my place
And see that face
Who took my breath
Held me down in a pool of tears
And then left

Silence
Sealing my words completely
But that didn't stop the violence
You never made much sense
Always so tense

You were just an eighteen year old boy
Putting your hands on a little girl
As I look back, I wonder
Why you put me in such a hellish world

You still haunt my mind
When another man spoke I remembered your lines
So I pushed him aside
For I didn't want to relive that time
But I was mistaken, another innocent heart breaking

You turned my world upside down
I can't even make a damn sound
Without having to think I might be put back down on the ground
I was only fifteen, five years later your face still can be seen
In my mind, in my dreams
I cannot escape, fear is what I wear
For you're my worse nightmare

A fine write it is good to write your feelings down ...It will help with healing.
