Monday last.Tube 0830 up.
She sat right across-
pert,brief and grey.
Hid in white saree and big glasses.
But I could tell.
People!This aint her!
'tis my Maker come as her!
Those steely eyes dug into me,
froze me legs up.
Lemme out!lemme out!
What do u want?Is it time?already?
Dancing in her glasses
I saw demons buried in the past
rush in from behind.
And why do u smirk?
Accuse?admonish?or admire?
She sure knew me.In and out.
Mercy atlast.The doors slid open
and I ran out with all my might.
Beyong her singing gaze.
Much later when I stood
I prayed not to meet my Maker
a day too soon.

This is a sterling example of situation poetry. You twisted this event maniacally, yet expertly, in a way which drew me down into the swirling vortex of your experience.
Fantastic work. |
