The poetry’s back, I’m sure you will see,
That words just like water are flowing through me.
The love that once flourished till my heart filled with holes,
When I thought I had lost you, has found a new soul.
The forgiveness you offered, shows that you have great strength.
And to keep our love growing, you’d go to great length.
The words will keep flowing as our love will expand.
And I’m ever so grateful, you love this unworthy man!
The poetry’s back, in a verse or a rhyme.
Or at times just a song, in three quarters time.
But whether it’s music, or the words of a book,
What always comes through is the woman I took.
