Angry Tears

These tears scream running down my cheek,
Unchecked, torturous, boiling,
These feelings underneath.
I scrape away my skin,
With these burdened nails,
To release my tensions,
And let them prevail.
But they fest deep inside,
In the heart of it all,
They're eating me alive,
Refusing to hear my painful call.
These tears I shed,
Are just the beginning of it,
The shortest and most unsatisfying way,
Of releasing them bit by bit.
Because no matter what,
They still live painfully in my mind,
No way of destroying them,
These angry tears I must abide.
