Still Gone

Still Gone

As photographic memories
go through my head each day,
You're always on my mind
You just won't go away.

You taunt me and tease me
with your gentle words and irresistable charms.
It's not that I don't want you there,
I'd just rather you were in my arms.

And as if that isn't hard enough,
There's more to this, it seems.
Not only are you in my thoughts,
You're also in my dreams.

We're together in these dreams I have,
And things are like they used to be.
I always wake with the same thought-
wondering if you dream of me.

I know I've always come and gone,
and I only see you now and then,
but everytime I get to look into your eyes
I fall in love with you all over again.

Everyday that I can't spend with you
the harder my life goes.
But every minute I'm away from you
the stronger my love grows.

Absence makes the heart grow fonder.
How much fonder could this heart get?
You know that I'll come back for you.
We can't give up on us yet.

What a tough time - I pray he [I presume he :-)] can realize what he's got, and that you don't give up. You can find strength in the Lord... He accepts you (and him) as you are. Follow His example, and accept each other as you each are.
