Betrayal

Contributed by Angelic_Demon on Wednesday, 12th November 2003 @ 07:38:56 PM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

Friendships shall be important,
And trust must be depended upon.
If there is no trust, there shall be no Friendship.

Trusting is something I find difficult.
Depending on them is a hard thing to do.
Should I ever depend on a friend,
A friend that I care for, I may be betrayed.

No; I have been betrayed.
I'm tired of being betrayed.
I'm about to do something about it.
What I know not.

Betrayed by a person whom
I thought I could trust.
Many have betrayed me.

I'm getting sick and tired of it.
I now know friends are hard to come by.
It may seem like they're nice,
But then it's like you were slapped in the face.

They may start talking about you,
Spreading rumors and lies,
They may even try to start a fight.
Then you learn you've been betrayed.

Well, I've got something to say.
Keep in your mind that of the three-fold law.
I'm sick of everything. What comes around,
Goes around. Fate has already gotten back one
Git. She's pregnant, married, and unhappy.

I hate hating old friends.
Yet, they mess up.
I never get close.
And I'm about to say screw off to everyone.

Yet there are those that care for me as a friend.
Those that would never betray me.
Blessed Be, Sandra, Dee, Becca, and Lucie.
Ah... Blessed Be to you too, Mom, Kelli, and Mick.

Mara,

Very good poem. I told you at school today that it's 'Shakespearean,' and it is, but in a good way. Lol! Better than what he wrote.

And yes, it's true that it's hard to find real friends... but even true friends make mistakes, just like sisters sometimes hurt each other. ^_^

Thank you for the mention. That was sweet. *giggles* Love ya'.

Kelli

Yeah, people can be real buttholes. But there are always a few special ones who, even if they're not always in your life, will always hold a special place in your heart. You deserve those people. The other ones, well, they can kiss our butts. Thank you for the mention, it made me feel special. :D LOL (sorry it took me so long to get around to commenting!)
