Synthetic Oil staturates face and hands,
Hoses connected for quarter mile stands,
Port and Polish to enhance the shock,
Intake and Exhaust replaces the stock,
Sunset Metallic Orange glows this truck,
Cowl hood, ground effects, wheels that tuck,
Five gears tuned to punish the road,
Wheels chirping with all ego showed,
Windows so black to jealous the blind,
Bitter sweet visuals to whom who walk by,
Feel the rumble as she comes down the way,
Expose the money, Asure that you will pay,
Dont jump the gun and wait for the green,
Reving the engine - screaming lean,
Out of cowl hood to spectating surprise,
Nitrous purges into excited dark skies,
As the light turns, She explodes from three,
Running the gears as her intake screems,
Drivetrain pushed to let the power escape,
Rear view proving all competition has fade,
No shame in losing hard earned buck,
Espeically against my baby chevy truck.

I love your poem...I can imagine everything that you're describing, and it captures the mood and feeling of working on the truck, and racing perfectly....It's also awesome because it's about a chevy..haha
Your poems are awesome, keep up the good work
