UNTIL THEY HAUL US ALL AWAY

Contributed by Steeleyes on Tuesday, 11th November 2003 @ 04:12:26 AM in AEST
Topic: political

Being subtle's not not our strong point
In fact it’s our foe
All the old rules are dead
We let that stuff all go

No more diplomacy
No more pussy-footing
In fact we have prioritised
Plain old sharp-shooting!

Don’t expect fancy footwork
Rumsfeld’s our example
We just say what we please
Our egos are surely ample

“If you have it flaunt it!” they say
Well we have power enough
We don’t have time to sooth your feelings
If you don’t like it, TOUGH!

We got tired of asking nicely
Now it’s DO IT! And as we SAY!
If it turns you off?
Well, you don't get to play

We were bearish enough
BEFORE Nine Eleven
So imagine us NOW
As the Richter scale hits seven

We can’t help ourselves
There is no other way
It’s rough on the others
But that’s how it IS today

You may like it or you may not
We don’t care about the result
We are going ape-simplistic
And don't you say it's our fault

Like some petulant rich kid
Who's privilege has gone to stay
We’re just gonna keep on kicking a**
Until they haul us all away
