The black side of your heart,
The contaminated blood,
Pulsing through your veins,
Poisoned with regret,
Laced with lust,
The tainted dreams,
The faded desires,
The fated heartbreak.
A paranoid voice,
Restricting your impulses.
There is no antidote,
But to let the scars heal,
And fade,
To let you love again.

So many readings and I the first to comment.
Your poem rings true with antidotes of indifference, pain, dreams ad regrets.
You did right to move on.
Good poem
