Drowned Friendship

Contributed by irshprnss on Sunday, 9th November 2003 @ 07:58:16 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

I don’t understand, refuse to pretend,
I don’t know and never will
why emotions I lend
and decision my own, true friendships kill
why tears already fallen drowned those that were close,
not by me but those who don’t care
and even though I dry them they hurt more than most
catching those who ran and are no longer here.
A brother in my eyes until I let him down,
he never did look back
in my own tears he left me to drowned
when I turned to reach he was already In the past
