If I was a cup of coffee,
You would be my cream.
If I ruled a mighty kingdom,
Then you would be my queen.

If I was an eagle soaring high,
You would be my nest.
If I was a finely tailored suit,
Then you would be my vest.

If I was a cherry popsicle,
You could be my stick.
If I was a chocolate ice-cream cone,
Then you should be my lick.

If I was the tallest, mightiest tree,
You’d be the strongest branch.
If I was a stallion of a horse,
Then you would be my ranch.

If I was a colorful butterfly,
You would be my wings.
If I was only a finger,
You’d be my diamond ring.

If I was a very much younger man,
When you walked into my life,
I’d have been your husband,
If you’d honored me as my wife.
