Love for my mum

Contributed by lil_angel_eyes on Saturday, 24th August 2002 @ 08:19:43 AM in AEST
Topic: FamilyPoems

My mum is very special and will always be
The best thing in life i'll ever see.
Her heart holds all my joy and pain
She lives her life trying to gain.
Her hands always offer a gentle touch
Her arms always ready hug so much.
She works hard to make me happy in my life
Keeping me free from trouble and strife.
A mothers job is a demanding and heartfelt task.
Help is something i've never heard her ask.
Watching her smile and loving charm.
Keeping me safe and away from harm.
She shows me life's lessons that keep us together.
Cause I know my mum wont be here forever.
When I am down she will hold my hand.
I know she will try and understand.
I know with my mums love I will go far.
In my eyes she's always a star.
Not only is she there right to the end.
She is truly my best friend.
Another thing that my mum will always be.
Is the greatest gift that god could have ever given me.

Sweet, loving dedication to your mum. I can relate. My mum passed away 3/20/93 and her birthday was just 8/18. She and I hadn't always gotten along, seemly we were too much alike!!! But that didn't mean we didn't have that love of Mother and Daughter, we did and it was there,a nd still is. I am so glad she was hard on me. I had a tough life, as did my Mum. Tough love it is, but worth it. For God always has a plan, no matter what we want. She is always in my heart as in my presence, I can sense her, and sometimes, when I do things, seems like I can hear her say the things she had always said and expressed. Hmmmm.... I do miss my mum too. But I know She is in God's care. much better then here. My time will come, as God will want it. I am sorry for your loss. Your Mum will always be a part of you, no matter what. Those memories shared, and what your heart feels and speaks, is what matters to you. take care
Amber Rose :)
