Hello my friends and welcome, I've been a member here since the site started, I'm Phantom
Thank you all for becoming a member, this site here is full of splender,
Poetry from around the world, from seasoned poets, to little girls,
Everyone has something to give, don't every stop writing cause someone didn't like some poetry you did,
Your words make the world go round, and when I read them I find it hard to put my feet back on the ground,
We have poetry about God, poetry about the devil, poetry of love, and poetry about blood,
To each they're own is what I always say, don't take to heart everything someone has to say,
Do what you do, write what you write, poetry is for everyone not just the gifted or those without sight,
We have over four thousand members, I remember when we had maybe a hunderd,
I love to write and hope you do too, YPDC is the best thing that's ever happend to a few,
This is the home to the greatest unknown poets on the net, here we get our respect,
We have the freedom to write whatever we feel, let your emotions go, just keep it real,
So before I let you go, I want you all to know,
Your poetry is your feeling put into words,
Don't let anyone tell you differant, if they do let The Phantom know,
I will change their minds, and thank you for making YPDC your home.

| yay! haha I been here for about four days now and I love it here.. I post every chance I get. And there are some REALLY good poets here. I usually am not moved by poetry... I am actually the one who would usually make fun of it.... but no more.. it seriously evokes all emotion and I love it. |

Why Phathom how very gracious of you to send out a welcome to those we view new!
I've only been here a short while myself,
but I wouldn't miss a day of reading the poems, never putting them up on shelf! I've made so many nice friends, and dropped many a tear......I also would like to extent a wonderful welcome to all those new here!
Your poem was so loving, so kind, and considerate too. The more I see of you Phathom....the more I want too! You are a very nice man!
