MAKE YOUR BED CAREFULLY

Make your bed carefully,
'Tis alot like your life.....
Fitted sheet make wrinkle free.
Worries, heartaches, lost loves, beauty.
Top sheet tossed on very straight.
Covers our past, and future await!
Measure for size, turn down top.
Insulates our heart from a teardrop.
Blankets or Comforters,
A gingerly place
An aching heart or depressed soul.
Warmth nearer, will easily erase.
Bedspread falls outside to cover.
Broken heartstrings, healing endeavor.
Feathered pillows, bolster make.
Fluffed and tossed our minds, forsake.
Covering pillows with your spread
Tuck it gently, all is secure.
Live your life deliberately.
Loving Kindness, and Joy.....
Endure, while you mature!

Conni,
your imagination is awesome in everything you write and who would have thought to compare making your bed with our way of life.I usually think I better hurry up or Im gonna be late for work lol since making the bed is the last thing before I leave the house. Anyway this is a great poem.

Dear Cheri, this is an uplifting poem. The bed instructions remind me of my mother. Having your comparison of bedmaking as one like setting good values and goals for your life is quite unusual. I think I will be less burdened and more inspired when I next make my bed.
