DARK POETRY

Contributed by lovingcritters on Saturday, 8th November 2003 @ 06:33:11 AM in AEST
Topic: Haiku

Bleak, Dull, Dank, Dark Day
Every color green, now brown!
Dirty snow, on ground.

Well done, I'm really not a fan of Haiku poetry, but have read many. One thing though, Haiku does not have to rhyme, but well done all the same.

Always good to try new things, but I wouldn't say this is dark. If anything I would say the inevitability of changing seasons is one of the greatest comforts we have. To know that every year has its twilight is glorious and the hues and tones that it produces have provided muse for some of the greatest romantics who have ever dared to express.
