He’s perfect; he’s beautiful
And you’ve waited for so long
And he’s noticed and he wants you
Not sure if it’s right or wrong

Before he never cared
But now you’re on his mind
Could it be that all this time he
Hoped for you to be intertwined?

You’re excited and you think that
He’s the only one for you
So you agree to let him see
But you never thought it through

One short night and then it’s over
He’s not what he said he’d be
Not as charming, nor as sensitive
Like he’s good word guaranteed

You feel stupid and neglected
When he leaves you in the cold
Vulnerable and unattended
Your innocence left sold

You ask yourself why you listened
Blinded by his charm at go
Wondering how things’d be different
If you had said no
