How is it Meant to Be

Contributed by BrghtNSnshny on Friday, 7th November 2003 @ 06:52:42 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

I'm always surprised
how quickly love turns to pain.
So I guess I shouldn't be surprised
by the hurt in your eyes.

But I'm still here,
And I'm still waiting.
Patiently,
for you to heal,
and for you to notice me.

I could change your life
But you would have to take a chance in me.
Don't fear what you cannot fight,
my love will always be here,
growing and waiting;
for you, to embrace it.

Don't be afraid,
don't let you fear,
cloud your mind.
I'm not like the others,
through time and hard spots,
I have not given up,
on the us I have wanted
so much.

The sun has gone down,
on another day.
The stars have come out,
to try and play.
But they too feel the hurt and pain I feel,
And they cry along with me.
As I think ans as I pray that things are (get) better for you.

When you can,
let your pain go
and come to me
I can love you too

I am sorry I hope it works out soon so the pain will end. This was lovely for many reasons to read.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
