Innocent Child

Contributed by chicken on Friday, 7th November 2003 @ 06:46:40 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

She was an innocent, a child of only four,
Now faced to battle an inner war.
How could've I helped her, what could I say?
Even I could not take her pain away.
I dedicated my life to helping, trying to be a godsend,
It's just stuff like this I never wish to see again.
God please help me erase the anguish from my heart,
And please give this innocent a brand new start.

That is just sick and sad!!! I'm sorry you had to take care of that.. and even more sorry for the little girl. Good job of putting it into words and expressing your feelings.

Good write about something so despicable ... words can't express how much anger this kind of thing arouses ... take care and know you definitely are a godsend... Jan

I have no words..only tears...I have no smile...only fears...
For the many who have had this happen to them and the many that most are still to come. Its such a heart breaking and empty feeling to think of them not protected and violated in such a way..

"She was an innocent, a child of only four,
Now faced to battle an inner war."
These lines...*sighs*..Sums it up completely
Well Done!
(((huggers))) for you and the children..everywhere.

No child deserves such a sick act. No one deserves this. My heart goes out to the child and you...

i totally agree with the feelings you had and i agree about the whole thing. i hope that the child has loveing people around her to help her through this. i know the doubts she will face as she grows older and i also know that it takes a lot of curage to face every new day when the people who you have told don't belive you or are not loveing enought to care.
