Another sign of the end
But no weapon of mass destruction
Just Iraq itself
And this stillborn reconstruction
What a target you made of your men
Precious lives thrown away
What are the thoughts of the Pentagon
As they die day on day?
Act in haste
Repent at leisure
The old saying is wise
No hawkish egos
Can now stop
Or disguise
The fatal mistake
That was this war
And do you remember:
Weapons of Mass Destruction?
What it was all started for
None found
But could it just be
The thing to be destroyed
Will be this corrupt administration?
As another ‘copter goes down
And perhaps more lives lost
Iraq will bring THEIR elimination?
Bin Laden is still there
Saddam too
But Mr George Warmonger Bush
How long for YOU…?
