Dreams, the bastard son of sleep, forming
Vague pictorials that
Splice the imagery of darkness, as toads
Themselves, once grazed, snare the stupor
Senses and leave them the presence
Of God.
Emotion, the bastard son of life, toting
Sacred bodies portioned
For each feeling, as silent pets,
Themselves, once reared, prey on parented
Plaques seen only in their thoughts
As God.
Heaven, the bastard son of death, convoking
Bodiless souls whose
Droned minds hover toward an end, as bodies,
Themselves, once written, desert the dying
Depraved lives of sin to couple the throne
With God.
