A Dream

Nothing can take a dream away,
So hold on to it tight,
For a dream lies within you,
And is always by your side.

The world may change around you,
Responsibilities may grow,
Hard times may come,
But never let it go.

Hold fast to your dreams,
For if your dream happens to die,
It is like a bird with a broken wing,
Who cannot seem to fly.

So you see it's all up to you,
Whether you succeed or you fail,
But you'll always have a dream to hold on to,
So you will be able to prevail.
