I have painted this world inside my mind
A place where I can run free
Where no one will judge me
No gossip or evil stares
Everyone understands me here
And I wish to never leave

If you want you can join me
I think you’ll like it here
I need someone to share this with
All this beauty needs an audience
And there is no one here to paint with me
I need you to help

I will keep you hidden from reality
Take you in my arms and shield all hate
You will find comfort here, I promise this
I know I can heal your wounds
If you could only heal mine
So come into my chamber
And fall asleep with me

I do believe I have a place like that of my own. Great poem
