What is a slave?

You asked what it meant to be a slave like me
Have I given up my life or am I still free?

Is it about love or a lack of it that I’m searching for?
Is it all about control and sex or something more?

Giving all control to someone else is my freedom
My mind is blank, my body is numb

For those precious few moments I have no stress
I feel only pleasure and I give no less

Although sex is a major part of this lifestyle
By itself, the satisfaction can only last awhile

The real control is learning to trust
Accepting who you are is a must

Being a true slave requires devotion and loss of pride
While a true master is your teacher and guide

A master will train you and show you the way
Through punishment, pain, and pleasure, a slave must obey
