Leo, I Have To Talk To You Again

Contributed by nay on Wednesday, 5th November 2003 @ 07:54:19 PM in AEST
Topic: dedicatedpoems

Leo, it’s been almost a year
Till this day, you see my tears
It’s real messed up how this had to happen to you
Was that something God was really supposed to do?
It wasn’t fair how he took you
When it all happened, I just knew it wasn’t true
I’ll never forget that day
God couldn’t have planned it to go down that way
You know all of us are hurt
Everybody did and does their dirt
But, most people who’ve sinned are still living
They didn’t die!
It wasn't like you did, but still...
You don’t know how many times I’ve asked the Lord "WHY?"
I didn’t get an answer yet, but Leo, you’ll be the first to know
The good die young...
