-Shades of Grey-

Contributed by TaintedOptomist on Wednesday, 5th November 2003 @ 06:51:38 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

only see in shades of grey
an unlawful display of love and loath
he held the smoking gun
bore a hole to the heart of one gone lost
took the leap and couldn't fly
took the plunge and couldn't swim
round and round
an end with no begining
spinning out of control

deja entendu

in a game he can't win
a psychotic drama queen
she stopped living
herdream unfulfilled

he shot the bottle
he choked on life
now he's seeing stars
suspended over speeding cars
he took the leap
see how he flies
see how the game of ife lies

deja entendu

Gives a vivid mental picture, a feeling of being trapped. Good write.
