Pearls I Never Knew

Into the wondrous depths of a thunder kiss
I cascade softly into a pillowed dream
Where before me come visions of the hidden
Into the golden arms of a mystery
Where far below upon these jagged rocks
I see a miracle is taking place
Where all the tears from far above.
Are caressed and roll down their gentle ways
To a fertile valley of a warm sweet scent
To a rivers edge of a falling grace
To where the water meets the air again
In the mist that wisps around her face
They form like pearls on her shoulders bare
Like shadows chasing rainbows on the morning dew
I lean in closer for the scent of her hair
And for the taste of the pearls I never knew
