You’re the beautiful princess that I serve.
You are an angel I don’t deserve.
You are the song that’s in my heart.
I pray every day that we never part.

You are the poetry that through me flows.
You’re in my heart wherever I go.
Before I met you there was only strife.
But that all changed when you entered my life.

There is a hope living in my dreams.
It’s of you and me beside a stream.
We kneel to the ground while holding hands.
And on the riverbank I become your man.

Our bodies merge as our souls have done.
I know from you I would never run.
As daily the sun sets in the west.
With you I’d like to spend the rest.

You’re the light that through my windows shine.
I’ve basked in your warmth since you’ve been mine.
Of all the treasure found here on Earth,
To me you have the greatest worth!
