I Am Begging You

Contributed by misslee on Wednesday, 5th November 2003 @ 12:01:36 PM in AEST
Topic: SecretLove

Lord you know that a love has filled my heart to the brim,
If I could have anything in this world it would be him,
I am asking, nay,
Begging you to let me see the day,
That has him and I together in every way,
I would give my life for this one chance,
For when his eyes give me a glance,
I cannot help but sigh,
And feel as if my head is in the clouds way up high,
As I gaze out of my window,
The memories tell me what I already well know,
I have never loved like this before,
And I feel as if for many centuries it was in store,
And that it was released when our eyes first met,
And thinking of anyone else before him I now regret,
But all I can do is remember when he was here,
Though he is gone I hold him to my heart so dear,
But all I can do is gaze upon the mountains and sigh
For he is far away and all I do is cry,
I just really want to know why,
The thought of him makes me sigh,
And why it at the same time warms my heart and makes me cry,
And why he has to be so far away,
For what seems like eternity and a day,
And why he cannot see,
That no one could love him more than me.
