NO STRINGS ATTACHED!

Contributed by emystar on Tuesday, 4th November 2003 @ 08:58:44 PM in AEST
Topic: goodbyepoetry

Many, many times
I've luved,
been left alone,
hurting inside.
Left me with
broken dreams.
Many, many tears
I've cried.

See when I kept
giving luv
everything in my
being was
at your command!
You could have
kept it
but crushed it with
grubby hands!

So I sent you packing
with no
strings attached!
Gave you back your
empty promises
no strings attached!
Not even a
goodbye kiss.
No strings attached!

Sure, I understand
we fear luv.
You never even
gave it
a chance.
Go down the road
don't even
give me
a second glance!

Having read a few of your works, I must say this (thus far) is the best I have read. The passion is well expressed and is very evident. Great writting go for it!

Twinkletoes!
