My True Destiny*

It was on one of the darkest nights,
When a thought accured to me.........
I wondered about my true calling
What is my destiny?
Oh how brightly the stars shown above,
There was one in particular that caught my attention.
For the very first time in my life, I felt completely whole.
This beautiful piece of Gods own work began to speak to me............
Not in a physical, but in a spiritual voice,
Like a gentle whisper of an Autumn Breeze.
So taken by it all, I fell on bended knees.
He began to speak, "I knew the time would come,
For us to meet just as we are, you are one of the special ones!"
Although you weren't aware if it, time and time again, you've passed the test.
It's not always the ones with all the material wealth,
And earthly acclaims that are truly the best.
Be it Platinum, Diamonds, Silver or Gold.........
What prophet a man to gain the whole wide world and loose his soul?
You have these Special Gifts deep within your Soul.
Priceless gifts of Love, Compassion, Understanding, Patience and Honesty.
All of which far out weigh any mountain made of gold.
The Star went on to say......."one night I saw you bring a little boy so much joy."
By taking time to fix his Fire truck, it was his favorite toy.
The time when you found a stray puppy along the street.........
Someone just threw him away, like yesterdays garbage,
Because of you and your love for all living things,
Little Jenny now has a safe warm place to stay.
I count on her every morning to wake me, that's how we start our day.
The Star spoke yet again, "I remember another incident, you're were the only one who would,
Come to a ladys rescue, because she was and I quote: "the wrong color, in the wrong neighborhood!"
It took love and lots of courage to help this lady through,
Surrounded by all that hatred, yet you stood your ground......................
No greater love for all mankind can be found.
The Star's final words were, " You will never achieve earthly riches, fortune or fame."
You're riches come from your Heart and Soul in the Masters Name."
Knowing that you will always be the kind and loving person you've come to be,
Stay humble, that others may follow you...................
You're on the Bright and Shining Road to fullfilling your True Destiny."
