Did you know it’s difficult to reveal my soul to you?
Even though it’s the only thing in this world that I want to do?
You sometimes think you already know what’s in me,
Yet you wait – oh so patiently you hope,
for my willingness to admit what you already see.
And the wrong is long since forgotten.
Did you know it’s easy to give my heart to you?
Even though I’ve only given it away to a few?
You sometimes feel you don’t know how to please me,
Yet you try – oh so faithfully you attempt,
and it’s not your fault that you can’t release me.
And the heart you show will never be forgotten.
Did you know all I’m thinking about is how to please you?
Even though I feel with every breath I take, I don’t deserve you?
And the moments we had will never be forgotten.
