i hate your weakness when faced with him
his anger driving you away
all the hateful things he's done
blasting you back into yourself
i wish you knew how much stronger you were
you don't have to go on forever
being defeated at the hands
of an evil man
who hates you because you are everything he longed to be
and never could manage to find
in his life
i hate your defenselessness and my anger
i hate how i can do nothing
but stand with my fists clenched at my side
trying not to cry when i know that he hurts you.

| I don't know how you keep quiet I wasn't able to. I threatened the man that if he ever hit my friend again I would do horrible things to him. He never touched him again. I am sorry for your friend. I hope you can find a way to help them to get through it all. |
