Day is turning to night
With the darkness begins my terrible fright
Demon shadows begin their frightful dance
Lying in wait for their chance
They wait for me to slip
So they can take me into their shadow's grip
I hear them sweetly call for me to come
I see them and begin to run
I run for the last lingering moments of light
If they catch me I won't have the strength to fight
It is so beautiful here, I so badly wish to stay
I begin to cry as these demon shadows chase me away
With the fading light their reach gets longer
As darkness falls they become overwhelmingly stronger
My grip on reality gets weak
As the demon shadows, my soul do seek
I awake again with the dawn's saving light
Away it chases the demon shadows and with them so too my fright
