I live in a place that doesn't exist
Where it's perfectly normal to slit your wrist
Where war is everywhere you see
Death is the only thing that will set you free
This place is as bad as hell
Where everyone has something to tell
Corrupt people and leaders
Lowlifes and bottom feeders
Almost everyone is poor or in debt
Of all these bad things I will make one bet
If things don't get better here on earth
Nobody will ever want to give birth

But, brokenheartedfool, we've got a place in paradise to look forward to. No crying, no pain, no loss, no war..... God's gonna hold us in His arms and tell us that everything's gonna be OK, because it will be......
We've got hope for the future.....

Awesome write, Sounds to me exactly life is nowadays..........but then it'll only get better if you decide to make it better and not before.
This had rythm to it excellent poem. |
