Invited to your vibrant life
to grab the love within
to sing and dance the rapid song
you play like mandolin
I watch awaiting transport
from my home upon this brae
a flit of love -- my mandolin girl
to wake my glacial day
and tho my life now at a pace
slow notes upon viola
I'll change in key to violin
to play our own sonata
we'll tickle life like ivory
on your high rise grand piano
and the beating heart of mountains
will sing our metronome's soprano
