2:51 to 2:58

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

This is the moment I live for
I can see you coming up from the dark
I can smell the sweet scent of your body's fragrance
We act like nothings wrong
We know everythings not alright
This lamp needs to go out but won't turn off
So I smash it like I own it
Forgetting that we are nothing to everyone else
And the consequences will be like a comander with his soilders killing them all
This isn't how I remembered it
The thousands and thousands of camp fires
ARE GONE
Instead they're replaced with forest fires
I wish the tide would come for all of us
And wash up this life without a care
I never thought I would be shameless like I am
I'm not here to satisfy you
You complete waste of time
The clock says 2:58 and this isn't right
Cause' I WANT IT TO GO BACK
To 2:51 when everything was ok
I'm here and your gone
I'm here and your here
Whats going on
With us, when you show up unexpected
I don't know what to do......

Emotional...hell yess... I'd say that this is propably a rather angry poetry...hmmm...quite like one you would hear in one of those art cafes...spoken to the beating of a drum beat by a guy or gal dressed in all black...heh...heh. However the poem addresses one thing that is forever the obsession of man...to turn back the clock...to do things that have happened anew...to repeat what have been....you get the drift. Sadly...IT IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN...you can't turn back time and it will never again be 2:51 ever. Nice topic and a very energetic presentation. I have the same feeling sometime to just repeat what was and then maybe...maybe...we can make things work....could we????...somehow I doubt it....repeat history a thousand times and even with foreknowledge we will still be in the *****hole that is the world.. always...
