Fields of gold, neigh temptation
Mardar thou thanes through deception
Battles fraught, heroes done
Bloody stumps on stakes unshunned
Kings and beasts the very same
Not gods but men live the game
And death thusly secured
Trails of wood leave fiery blaze
Spark in the storm, thought out vain
The man is gone
But the thought remains
