Waiting by the phone
For a heart made of stone
Leaving you all alone
His abandonment was shown
Before the eyes that has known
A heart that's already owned
And yet you still wait
It's obviously too late
Your love will grow to hate
Then in time you'll be violent
Just remain silent
You had a few dates
In the end finding out
That he's nothing but a snake
Too many times your heart ached
It's time for you to take
Your heart away from this fake
But you still wait
You're aware that it's too late
And yet you still make those calls
Never an answer, you punch a wall
He won't catch you when you fall
You have faith that he'll come around
Better stop now, or you'll end up six feet under ground
Or he just might, if you get violent
Don't fight, just remain silent
