Yet I Go On
I was young,
You were old,
We both loved each other.
I was a dreamer,
You were a realist.
We both knew of your suffer.
Then one day,
The sky turned dark.
You went on to be with God.
In an instant,
My heart was broken..
First time I knew what real pain was.
Your memory is,
Like an injury.
That will never be fully healed.
Yet I go on,
Everyday.
Just like I knew you would want me to.
