Because Of You
Because of you, I can breathe the air,
Feel pain and shed a tear.
Because of you, I’ve learn to smile,
Found the world to be worth well.
Because of you, I’ve found direction,
No longer trying to meet perfection.
Because of you, I’ve learned to dream,
Look beyond how things seem.
Because of you, life’s anew,
And all my dreams are coming true.
Because of you, I no longer want to hide,
Because of you, I’m alive.

Excellent write, Jeff....so very simple and sincere... loved it..
(May I make a suggestion? Based on your rhyming scheme, perhaps, instead of 'worth well' in your 2nd couplet, you could have used 'worthwhile")
