Death Of Fear,Birth Of Smile

Contributed by lovingwhispers on Saturday, 1st November 2003 @ 08:12:58 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Come away with me, he had whispered...
Smiling into her soul
Hold my hand, stroll through my heart.
Let me wipe the tears of old

Silence held all of her emotions...
As his words cocooned her fears
Wrapped up in the safe arms of love
She offered up some of her tears

Placing them into his comfort...
One by one,yet just a few
She gave to the one who touched her
For because of him,trust grew

Believe in my heart as it speaks...
He'd told her time and time again
I have come only to love you
I'd die before I gave pain

Her face lifted to his sunlight
Holding her eyes with his heart
It took just a moments soft gaze
To know from him, she'd never part

Into the night,they strolled
Hand in hand,facing her fears
One by one, they fell to their death
As she looked on with happy tears

This is so heart touching for me sharon.
You always have a way of pulling the harp strings of my heart....the last line really got me. "as she looked on with happy tears"
Oh that was moving...and took me a place I haven't thought about for 32 years.
I tried to reach you by email....but they all came back. I just posted a poem that you once again inspired me to do. I hope you don't mind, I mentioned your name.
